I agree with dchall san antonio above, trial and error is probably the best way to get to know your spreaders settings. Does anybody have an idea what the setting should be set to? I just doing feel like attaching a bag to the spreader and doing all that measuriing:). Looking at Lesco's website - the application rate is 4-5.3lb/1000sqft however they don't mention the spreader setting for the above spreader.there are other Scott's spreaders like Accugreen and EasyGreen mentioned but not the standard. I just purchased a Scott's Standard Broadcast spreader from Lowes and was going to apply the Lesco 0-0-7 Pre-emergent to my lawn.
